Lafarge Africa Enhances Customer Logistics with 155 New Trucks

Lafarge Africa Plc has distributed 155 trucks to its customers as part of a strategic initiative to enhance logistics capabilities and operational efficiency. This move reaffirms the company’s commitment to supporting customer growth and fostering sustainable partnerships.

Speaking on the initiative, Commercial Director Gbenga Onimowo, represented by Head of Sales, Lagos, Babatunde Odufote, described it as a transformative step. He stated, “Today marks a pivotal moment in Lafarge Africa’s unwavering commitment to our customers’ success. These trucks are not just vehicles; they are tools of empowerment designed to enhance supply chain control, strengthen market presence, and unlock new business opportunities.”

The initiative reflects Lafarge Africa’s broader vision of driving progress and sustainable growth in collaboration with its partners.

Logistics Director Osaze Aghatise, represented by Head of Logistics Projects Ogbonna Arua, emphasized the operational importance of the development, stating, “Logistics is a cornerstone of any business, particularly in the construction and building materials industry. Timely and efficient product delivery is essential for meeting project timelines, satisfying customers, and maintaining our competitive edge.”

The new fleet is expected to enable customers to deliver Lafarge products with greater efficiency, ensuring reliability and excellence in service delivery nationwide.
