First Bank Introduces First Humanoid Robot, Reinforces Commitment To Innovative Financial Solutions For Customers

First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Nigeria’s top financial institution and top provider of services for financial inclusion, has announced the launch of a Humanoid Robot, the country’s first of its kind in the financial services industry. This move is in line with the bank’s leadership position in providing innovative financial solutions in Nigeria.

The robot can act as a helpful branch employee because it has video banking capabilities and artificial intelligence (AI).

Through a touch screen attached to his chest, the Humanoid Robot can converse with clients.

The robot’s functions include answering consumer questions about cash deposits, withdrawals, and ATM cards.

The robot also helps with complaint management because customers may submit a complaint via QR and receive feedback within the recommended time frame.

Customers are also kept informed of Bank developments by the Humanoid Robot, including the introduction of new products and enhancements that aim to improve customer happiness.

The robot serves as a central hub for informing customers about the Bank. Additionally, it manages customer accounts well.

The addition of the Humanoid Robot to our cutting-edge Digital Experience Centre represents a deliberate step toward changing the banking landscape in the nation and further showcases the priority we give to innovation within the Bank, according to Dr. Adesola Adeduntan, CEO of FirstBank Group, who expressed his delight at the initiative.

The debut of the Bank’s cutting-edge digitally guided self-service branch, known as the Digital Experience Centre, in December 2021 includes the introduction of the Humanoid Robot as one of its phased configurations.

The second and last Digital Experience Center for Banks will house a Humanoid Robot as well, which will be unveiled in the upcoming months.
