In a move set to ease fuel costs for Nigerians, the Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a fresh reduction in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol.
The new prices, which took effect on Thursday, now range from N875 to N905 per litre, representing a N15 per litre reduction across the board. The announcement was made via the refinery’s official social media platforms.
According to the statement, the revised prices apply to all major fuel marketers working in partnership with the refinery, including MRS, Ardova, Heyden, Optima Energy, Techno Oil, and Hyde Energy.
A regional breakdown of the new pricing shows:
Lagos – N875
South-West – N885
North-West & North-Central – N895
South-East & South-South – N905
North-East – N905
The company highlighted the high quality of its locally refined products, stating: “Our quality petrol and diesel are refined for better engine performance and are environmentally friendly.”
This latest reduction follows ongoing efforts by the Dangote Refinery to stabilize the local fuel market and ensure more affordable energy for Nigerians.
