According to the Palestinian enclave’s Health Ministry, Israeli airstrikes have killed more than 558 civilians in Gaza.
More than 65 persons have been added to the death toll, bringing the total to more than 2,800.
Following a huge assault by the Palestinian organization Hamas, which administers the Gaza Strip, Israel launched a retaliation.
In the biggest civilian bloodbath in Israeli history, around 700 people were murdered and approximately 2,400 others were injured.
More than 100 Israelis have also been taken captive in Gaza, and Hamas claims that four hostages have been murdered by Israeli air raids.
The EU, the US, and Israel all consider Hamas to be a terrorist organization.
