Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has relaxed the curfew imposed in Lagos State with effect from Saturday, October 24.
The Governor made the announcement on Friday, October 23, 2020, while briefing reporters at the Lagos House in Marina.
According to Sanwo-Olu, people are free to move around from 8am to 6pm.
“For emphasis, from 8am tomorrow morning, you will be allowed to go out, to go wherever you wish till 6pm in the evening,” he said.
The state was on Tuesday placed under a 24-hour curfew to curtail the arson and widespread violence that has followed the peaceful #EndSARS protest against police brutality.
