Gumi: Iran Conflict Targets Government, Not Citizens

[BREAKING] Banditry: DSS summons Sheikh Gumi

Islamic cleric, Ahmad Gumi, has stated that the ongoing tensions involving Iran are directed at its Islamic Republic system rather than its citizens.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Gumi emphasized that the conflict should not be interpreted as an attack on the Iranian people. He expressed the view that Persians would play a significant role in the future of Islam, particularly in representing resistance against what he described as evil.

He also cautioned against mocking the use of Allah’s name, noting that ultimate authority rests with God.

“They are fighting the Islamic Republic, not the Iranian people. In the end of times, the Persians will hold the flag of Islam, which represents resistance to evil. Therefore, grief not—the end of evil is near,” he wrote.

Gumi’s remarks come amid heightened rhetoric from Donald Trump, who earlier issued a strongly worded warning to Iran in a post on Truth Social.
