There is tight security in Abuja as the Presidential Election Petition Court convenes to hear petitions disputing the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.
Armed security personnel shut off roads leading to the presidential election petition court. This caused a traffic jam in the city.
Three checkpoints were set up between the Ministry of Finance Headquarters and the court entrance.
Before being admitted inside the courtroom, lawyers, party representatives, employees, and journalists had to be accredited and confirmed at the admission gate.
